Entre Ciel et Terre, 2025, Aluminium Cast

Inspired by roof ridges and weather vanes, emblematic elements of Norman culture, “Entre ciel et terre” is rooted in popular imagery. Three large, iconic figures are integrated into the alcoves of the façade and roof of the Hôtel Escoville, establishing a dialogue with the site and its history.

The history of the Hôtel Escoville itself is a series of representations of Renaissance mythology and mysticism. By installing the three sculptures, each of which occupies a particular space in our environment and imagination, we hope to create a link between contemporary art, architecture and popular culture.
